Application - Bazgrant Blackheart

Post  Guest on Thu Jul 29, 2010 6:44 am

Username: Bazgrant

Character full name: Bazgrant Blackheart (Redeemer)

Description of what they look like: A traditional Blackrock Orc of large build, hailing from the Northern reaches of the Blackrocks Lordaeron raiders, his skin is black just like any other from the Blackrock clan. His hair has grown white since he was turned by the Scourge and recedes with his growing age. His expression is one of constant judgement, his eyes once blood red now glow with the eerie blue taint of the Scourges foul magic.
(Unfortunately, my highest peek of art potential is the 'stickman')

Personality: Extremely bound by honor, he feels a personal need to ensure the safety and well-being of every Orc that does not follow the new Horde. Brash and at times rude, he will not hold back any reservations he has of anyone, preferring that they deal with his mistrust, or earn his respect by the blade. While most view the Death Knight curse as a burden, Bazgrant saw it as an opportunity to bolster his own strength to new heights, and bring glory to the Blackrock.

Brief Background: The Blackrock raidiers stationed in Northern Lordaeron were one of the most feared Orcish groups of its time, conducting constant raids against human towns and sacrificing the townsfolk to their dark masters. While out on another routine raid, Bazgrants own raiders, the 'The Red Eyes' found the township they intended to raid empty. Confused and suspicious, they scoured the area for clues, and encountered the Scourge itself on their conquest of Lordaeron. Defying direct orders from the leader, Bazgrant remained and fought as the Red Eyes fell back. Bazgrant remained and made an attempt to stop the undead hordes from reaching his men, however he fell in glorious battle, and was unwillingly raised to serve.

Months went by as he was forced to bolster the power of the ones whom had killed him, everyday his hatred and rage grew for his undead masters. He began to learn of work camps the Scourge used, ran by the living whom served the Scourge itself, and speak of local Orcs being held as slaves reached the ears of Blackheart himself. Biding his time and waiting for the high ranking officers to be away, he took the chance and struck out against his slavers. The first Scourge to fall was their merciless human captain, using the Scourge captains own blade he caught the unsuspecting undead off-guard and gutted him as he was returning to the encampment. After that was dealt with, Bazgrant carved a path of destruction directly to where the Internment camps were said to be.

Upon reaching the Internment camp, Blackheart silently entered the slave pens, and began to free the Orcish prisoners. His former raiders grew suspicious of him and could smell the taint of the Scourge upon him, their accusations of treachery were silenced when his former Raid captain spoke out against them, referring the Blackheart as the Redeemer they needed for freedom. With the Orcs free they let loose their fury on all living things within the camp, be it Scourge, human or otherwise, they were all beaten to death by the Blackrock Orcs. Upon securing a safe distance the band of Orcs set out to their clans bastion in the Southern reaches, a long journey remained infront of them as they made their way to Blackrock Mountain.

He sounds perfect! A true blackrock orc! Poke either me or Rahauron for an IC interview, or maybe we can meet him when we arrive at blackrock! =)
